What Cleaning Products Do You Use?

One of our goals at The Scrub Club is to be as environmentally conscious as we possibly can be! It’s another reason why we are one of the leading cleaning company in Delaware! Our cleaning staff are trained to use the most gentle and effective cleaning solutions for your home. While we are always open to using cleaning supplies that you request, Pledge, Bleach and CLR are cleaning products that The Scrub Club will not use in your home. We are continually testing new environmentally friendly products to see if they live up to their word, and in turn, be worthy of helping clean your home!

Some of The Scrub Club’s commonly used products are: vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, essential oils, baking soda, dish soap, rubbing alcohol, as well as store-bought natural cleaners. Using these natural and effective products will disinfect, clean and polish the surfaces in your home just as well as those nasty harsh chemicals. Using harsh chemicals is not only less safe for our staff, but also you and your family! At the moment, the only product that The Scrub Club will use in a home that is not extremely gentle, is fume-free oven cleaner. Due to the fact that we have limited time in your home, ovens do not have the time needed to soak with a more natural product. Ovens tend to have the most build up and can be one of the most difficult appliances to clean. If you request not to have this fume-free oven cleaner used in your home, we will oblige, but we also may not be able to get your oven as squeaky clean as we’d like to!

For each account we have, whether it be commercial or more industrial, the needs and products that The Scrub Club will use will be discussed with each account on an individual basis. Typically for our smaller offices, we will use the same natural products as we do in the homes that we clean! When it comes to the more industrial locations, we will use the product that is right for the job – this does include floor cleaners and degreasers. Customizing the products based on the clients needs ensures that each client is receiving the cleaning they need for their offices and plants.

How does “Flat-rate” pricing go?

Here at The Scrub Club, we cherish honesty and transparency, incorporating these core values in every aspect of our business. This goes for our pricing model of flat, fair fees that guarantee value for your money and put a smile on your face. However, we encourage our clients to keep in mind a few important details:

  • Flat-rate pricing is available for homes of reasonable cleanliness levels.

  • Our clients are encouraged to share accurate information regarding their homes’ sizes and condition in advance of their appointment.

  • Your cleaners may need more time and ‘heavy-duty’ rates to clean your home if it’s larger or messier than previously discussed.

  • Your team may include heavy-duty fees for particularly demanding home cleaning jobs or spacious homes.

  • The pros may have to adjust their approach, prioritize cleaning tasks, or reduce the scope of work if your home is dirtier or larger than average.

Should I leave or stay home when my maids arrive to clean?

This decision is completely up to you! Your team will be happy to clean your home either way. If you should decide to be home during your service, we kindly ask that you and the members of your household maintain a minimum 6 feet social distance for health and safety concerns. If you plan to leave, just make sure to leave your enrty instructions or an alarm code so your cleaners can access your home and deliver stellar cleaning service.

Are your maids background checked?

In-depth background checks are an essential aspect of our vetting process. It enables us to verify your cleaners’ trustworthiness and competence. There’s no doubt your team consists of trusted, committed Cleaning Technicians!

Do I need to tip?

Tipping is not required! But it is appreciated! 🙂

What if I’m not happy with my cleaning?

If you’re not happy, we’re not happy. It’s as simple as that. Your professional maids perform to a high standard of service and we provide a 24 hour guarantee of their work. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your cleaning, please let us know within 24 hours of the cleaning and we will send a Tech or a team back to your home to correct the problem as soon as possible. We do not offer refunds.

Do you have service Limitations?

We would love to serve all clients, but unfortunately, we cannot. Large or fiesty unsecured dogs, animal waste, severe damage/clutter, pest infestations, and disconnected utilities, for example, prevent us from delivering the quality you deserve and may mean we have to decline the request for service.
